PM Shehbaz meets President Zardari, discusses budget and economic outlook

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on President Asif Ali Zardari to brief him on the Federal Budget 2025, Pakistan’s current political and economic situation, and his recent visit to the United Arab Emirates.
President Zardari emphasised the need to prioritise relief for low-income groups, including salaried employees, pensioners, and labourers. He also stressed the importance of expanding job creation initiatives and strengthening social welfare programs.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Senator Saleem Mandviwalla.
